Liverpool head coach Arn Slott was sad with the way in which Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven tackled Alexander Isak because the Swedish striker scored the Reds’ second aim in North London on Saturday, believing it was reckless – an act that, to be truthful, really resulted in Isak breaking his leg.
However Spurs supervisor Thomas Frank clearly does not suppose so, believing that every one “true defenders” make such tackles.
“If my defenders do not try this, they are not actual defenders.” 💪
