Stewart Cink wins Hawaii Champions event by 3 strokes

KAUPLEHU KONA, Hawaii – Stewart Cink gained the PGA Tour Champions season-opening Mitsubishi Electrical Championship on Saturday, capturing an 8-under 63 for a three-stroke victory.

Sink, 52, completed with a 23-under 193 at Hualalai. It was his second straight championship after ending final season with a victory in Phoenix for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. He has 5 senior titles.

Angel Cabrera was second with a 66, Retief Goossen shot a 64 to take third place at 18 below, and Ernie Els (67), Thomas Bjorn (66) and Freddie Jacobson (70) have been on 17 below. Fred {Couples}, 66, shot a 70 to complete at 15 below.
