“Surgery was considered, but Thursday’s CT scan revealed severe fractures to the right hind condyle, pastan and sesamoid. The extent and complex nature of the injury did not allow surgical intervention.
Whatlovelookslike was on the English Channel, owned by Barry Schwartz and raised by Stonewall Farm. She was a favorite at Mount Vernon after resigning from four consecutive, staged stakes without victory. She put together a record of 22:5-4-3 and earned $500,825.
