A docusary picked by AmazonMGM, an island TT film produced in Hollywood.

The film produced by Brad Pitt and Channing Tatum and the attached docusary about Mann TT Island were featured by Amazon MGM Studios.

Last year it was announced that Hollywood superstars Pitt and Tatum are collaborating with a number of producers on new feature films and docusaries based on Isle of Man TT.

The feature film is produced by Guymon Casady and Jason Keller of Tatum, Free Association, Pitt’s Plan B and Entertainment 360, and is directed by Reid Carolin.

The docusaries to go with this are working on Box to Box Films, the studio behind Netflix’s hit series Drive to Survive.

The series is set to consist of four 45-minute episodes and was filmed on Man TT Island in 2024.

This package is now picked up by Amazon MGM Studios.

“The company has been working hard to get into the world,” said Paul Phillips, Head of Motorsports at Enterprise Island. “The impact this has on TT cannot be overstated.

“We put our events at a truly global stage and enter the next stage of our digital broadcasting strategy.

“This is the testament to the sport and the unique nature of TT working with these world-class partners.”

Brad Pitt has already produced a 2015 MotoGP documentary, dipping his toes in the waters of motorcycle racing filmmaking Hit the vertex.

Recently he’s been filming something new F1 movie, It will be released this summer.

Isle of Man TT has gained more broad mainstream appeal than a decade ago for documentary films Close to the edge It was released in the cinema.

TT expanded its digital broadcast footprint in the wake of the Covid pandemic, fully live coverage of the event in 2022 for the first time.

This year’s TT will close on Saturday with four more races scheduled to run in the final two days.

Michael Dunlop won the highest victory ever after winning 32 after success in both this week’s Supersport Race and Opening Super Win Battle.
