John Jones and Anderson Silva are arguably two of the greatest fighters in UFC history.

Jones is the current UFC heavyweight champion, but he dominated most of his career in the light heavyweight division. Meanwhile, Silva was the long-time middleweight champion one division. Unfortunately, the two greats didn’t fight each other as Silva’s prime happened a bit before Jones reached the top.
Interestingly, the pair attended a secret sparring session many years ago. It’s MMA legend, but little is known about when they stepped into the ring together, or who came out on top.
That being said, well-known MMA analyst Chael Sonnen claims he asked Silva how his sparring session with Jones went. He appears to have got some interesting information from the former UFC middleweight champion.
“There was a day, and you may know this story. These two went to it and it was just an exercise,” Sonnen told Bloodyerbo. “They were both in town. They were both in Vegas at the same time and the UFC had a private gym underneath, where Dana (white) exercises or Lorenzo (Fertita) exercises.
“If there was a video, it would never surface and the only people there were Dana and Lorenzo, Anderson and John,” the UFC analyst added. “No one ever talked about it. But I asked Anderson personally. I said, ‘Man, you can tell me what happened that day.” He told me a bit and he swore me a secret, but he says that one day he will reveal what actually happened. ”
So what exactly did Sonnen hear from Silva?
