Tyreese Halliburton hit one of his special clutch shots to help the Indiana Pacers win Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the OKC Thunder.
The point guard hadn’t had a particularly great night, scoring only 14 points and shooting 46.2% off the field.
However, with the final ownership of OKC Thunder leading the Indiana Pacers 110-109, Halliburton drained a midrange shot from Cason Wallace, giving the Rick Carlisle man a 111-110 victory in Game 1.
Former NBA player Gary Payton shared Lord’s victory, which was an advantage for either side.
It was a special occasion for Tyrees Halliburton, as his first signature shoe with Puma was officially announced before the tip-off.
Halliburton joins the elite athletes list to have signature shoes, including Michael Jordan.
His Airness signature shoe brand changed the game and had multiple iconic commercials.
Halliburton went out for X and expressed excitement by using one of the Jordanian commercial lines with Spike Lee.
I read, “It has to be shoes.”
The shoes didn’t get a better debut as the winner of the game could be key to a chance of winning the final.
That certainly affects the Thunder’s impressive home record in the playoffs.
After the match, it was revealed that Halliburton gave him an additional motivation by making his debut in shoes.
“My secret sauce today was these (shoes),” Halliburton said.

Miles Turner revealed that after a match six performance in the series against the New York Knicks, Halliburton killed an overrated story.
The 25-year-old stepped up to his team every time they needed him, leading to his rise as one of the league’s stars.
Paul George said Halliburton is a superstar after showing off his sparkle for the Pacers.
Like other superstars in the league, Halliburton was finally given Puma and his own signature shoes.
He has been on the NBA elite lists, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Giannis Anteto Compo.
His shoes are called “Hari 1” and are scheduled to be released in September.
