Donald Trump loves the UFC
Trump’s love for the UFC is no secret. The president has attended several promotional cards in the past. He was in the UFC 309 building that went down in New York City last November. He was also attending UFC 314 in Miami this April.
Trump also has a close friendship with UFC CEO Dana White. The pair’s relationship dates back decades, with White as a major advocate for the business mogul ahead of his first and second election victory. UFC commentator Joe Logan also supported Trump before his latest victory. Many well-known UFC fighters also throw support behind the president. These include Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, Michael Chandler, and Conor McGregor in particular. The Irish UFC star recently visited Trump at the White House and was so excited about the meeting that he is currently planning a transition to politics, but it appears he is running into trouble.
Saturday’s UFC 316 card will be headlined by a rematch of the Bantamweight title between champion Melove Dvalishvili and former champion Sean O’Malley. It also features a women’s bantamweight title fight, with Kayla Harrison taking on Julianna Peña.
