Former head coach of New York Knicks Carl Anthony Towns is interested in dramatic moves to replace Tom Thibodeau

The New York Knicks coaching job has given him another new twist.

Following the team’s exit interview, the New York Knicks announced in a statement that they would say goodbye to Tom Thibodeau.

There is a division of opinion on this decision. He recently led him to the Eastern Conference Finals, as Thibodeau’s impressive record during his tenure with the Knicks should be considered.

But what comes next has sparked an even wider view. Who will be the New York Knicks’ next head coach?

There’s a special plot as the Knicks are already considering a coach who works in the NBA.

The New York Knicks’ first four shortlist included Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka.

However, the Rockets are not going to allow Udoka to leave.

Another man on the list is Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd. ESPN insider Tim McMahon refuses to rule it out while they want to keep him.

According to Sny, the Knicks added Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch to the list.

Finch’s Timberwolves have reached the Western Conference Finals over the past two seasons. He was appointed to the team in 2021.

He faces another tough challenge in the competitive West and could move east.

The most interesting part of Chris Finch, who trades Minnesota for New York, is his reunion with the town of Karl Anthony.

Finch coached the town in 2024 for the Western Conference Finals. However, last summer he was swapped for the Knicks for cost reasons. Julius Randle and Donte Divinsenzo went the other way.

Since the team’s exit, the town has been mentioned in trade rumors. But if the Knicks move for Finch, it makes sense to keep the town accurate.
