Earlier this week, Real Madrid announced former Liverpool player Trent Alexander Arnold as his latest signature. The defender joined the La Liga Giants ahead of the Club World Cup, making a considerable impression at the press conference.
Alexander Arnold spoke to the media and Real Madrid staff in Spanish and revealed that he had been learning the language for several months. However, this was loved by his new supporters, but his previous fans of Liverpool considered it rude.
Colliemore tells Liverpool supporters to forget torrent
In his exclusive catch-offside column, Stan Colliemore responded to Alexander Arnold’s press conference earlier this week. He believes that lingering feelings, both positive and negative, should be forgotten by Liverpool supporters.

“And the fact that he quickly embraced the move by learning Spain enough to speak at his press conference. It sends a message to Real Madrid’s hierarchy, his new teammates and the club’s supporters that he’s been there for a long time. The British players played football.”
