The Denver Nuggets player will support Michael Malone for his New York Knicks job.

The New York Knicks will remain without a head coach following the firing of Tom Thibodeau.

The closer the NBA draft is, the shorter the time will be. Several well-known candidates have been approached by the organization, including Jason Kidd, Ime Udoka and Chris Finch.

However, recent reports show that all teams controlling these coaches have rejected New York’s progress.

Due to a stall in coaching searches, DeAndre Jordan of the Denver Nuggets Center proposed an interesting solution. He hires his former head coach, Michael Malone.

“I think Mo gets another job, if he wants to make it, it definitely happens.

Malone will still be available after being fired by the Nuggets just before the postseason. His track record and championship experience make him an attractive candidate, according to Jordan.

“The competitive nature he has, the competitive nature he pairs with them may be a really good situation. I think he’s a breath of fresh air at times.

Jordan believes Malone’s championship qualifications make him ideal for the New York roster structure.

“He’s proven he can win a championship, especially the best players in the system, Cat, Jalen and Mikal, and Josh love players like Josh Hart, like guys like Bruce Brown,” Jordan added.

“I think they can really do something, especially I think he is probably the best coach they can actually hire in my opinion,” Jordan concluded.

Malone brought championship experience from the 2023 title against Denver in 2023, leading the Nuggets to seven consecutive playoff appearances.

His ability to manage stars such as Nicola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook suggests he can handle New York’s talented roster featuring the towns of Jalen Branson and Karl Anthony.

The Knicks need to act quickly to secure their next head coach and begin preparing for the upcoming season. Malone’s availability and proven success make him a compelling option worth seriously considering.
