Last night, Kamal Usman returned to his victory column. He was able to largely dominate Joaquin Buckley in their funny UFC Atlanta main event, and Buckley was able to make a big round for the fifth time, but that wasn’t enough. “Nigerian Nightmare” went back to basics and proved that he might be a veteran in this division, but that doesn’t mean he’s finished and isn’t a long shot.

Of course, the welterweight division is currently absolutely stacked across the top star hosts. Uthman is a former champion and one of the greatest ever at 170 pounds, and you can bet that he will return there and get hungry. Alas, there are questions about who he will face, and one of the main candidates is the other former champion Beral Muhammad.

This was a battle that Muhammad called many times in the past, but Usman didn’t seem to be overly interested. Either way, it will definitely be an interesting watch, especially given each style. In a brief tweet after the main event ended, Beral once again made his intentions clear.
