Paul Craig won’t ask Rodolfo Berato
Paul Craig answered questions from reporters at the UFC Atlanta Post Fight press conference. The 28-game veteran recognizes Rodolfo Berato for finding an out, but Craig said he doesn’t speculate (H/T Bloody Elbow).
“A few people have messaged me about this and they say it looked a bit florish, like he hamed it,” Craig said.
“We don’t want to think of fighters looking for an easy way in this sport. We are all fighters. We are all at the top of our UFC, our careers, and we are looking to perform.”
Craig has been searching for his first victory since 2023. He went 0-3, 1 NC in the final four fights. The losses were to Bo Nickal, Caio Borralho, and Brendan Allen.
For Bellato, who won a UFC contract through “Dana White’s Contender Series,” his record under the UFC banner is 1-1-1, 1 NC. He is under severe scrutiny from fans, but some media members, such as Aaron Bronstator, have come to defend the “traitor.”
At this time it is unclear whether the UFC will try to rebook matchups or whether Craig and Bellato will have new enemies. BJPenn.com will update you on the ongoing fallout of the controversial UFC Atlanta match between Paul Craig and Rodolfo Bellato.
