Jairzinho Rozenstruik held a fan show tonight. The 37-year-old won his second TKO in the game, but surpassed Victor Cardoso in the main event of DBX2.
After a fun first stanza where I saw Cardoso swing, Rozenstruik took control second. At halfway through the round he landed a heavy right hook on the Caldoso and sent the Brazilian onto the canvas. The referee quickly turned his fight back, but not before Rozenstruik delivered the final shot and sealed his victory with an exclamation point.
Rozenstruik faces Rob Perez for the DBX heavyweight strap. Early in the evening, Perez won a grim match against Alex Nicholson after stopping Nicholson in the opening round. Both men came out shaking from the start, bringing out an entertaining, enthusiastic match.
Unfortunately for Alex Caceres, his promotional debut ended with the loss of an unanimous decision to Saidyokub Kakhramonov. The pair squared at the co-main event and held a show that allowed both to win invitations to the DBX ring.
