The setting is set in the much-anticipated 5 Test series between India and England, with cricket experts around the world already piqued the contest with bold predictions. With Shubman Gill leading the younger Indian side against Ben Stokes’ experienced England team, fans can expect a huge hit and high voltage drama during the Test series.
Ahead of the five-match Test series opener in Leeds from June 20th, legendary Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden predicted that India could win the series, especially if bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Syraj found rhythms in English swinging conditions.

Matthew Hayden said in Star Sports: “I don’t think England’s fast bowlers are that good. They have a lot of injuries and a lot of retirees. That’s going to be a challenge. It’s going to be a challenge.
However, Aakash Chopra and Deep Dasgupta have pointed to a major role in India’s transition phase with younger players such as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sai Sudharsan, Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Arshdeep Singh.

Former Indian cricketer and cricket critic believe England’s home advantage could make a big difference to the Test series. Dasgupta predicted a 3-2 series victory in favor of England, but Chopra avoided the scoreline, but supported the hosts to outperform the Indians in the Test series.
In the same video Star Sports posted to X, Deep Dasgupta said: “It’s a young team. We have a young captain. The team is going through transition, so England has a small advantage.
Meanwhile, Aakash Chopra said, “I think England has an advantage. They play at home and the Indian team has gone through a transition. England may pull this off.”

Dale Steyn predicts England’s 3-2 or 4-1 Test series victory
Meanwhile, former South African pacer Dale Stein predicted England’s 3-2 or 4-1 Test series victory, but warned that all victory would be a tough battle.
Steyn said Shubman Gill’s team could only win a small portion of its Test matches on the Tour of England, and India would not fall without a serious fight.
Proteas Legend says all games in the 5-match Test series will be the result. Steyn said, “It’s a pretty young team. I’ve got to say that England will probably win the series. It’ll be 3-2 or 4-1 in England’s favor. But even the four will be very difficult.”
Sanjay Bangar predicts a 2-2 draw before the test series
Now, former Indian pacer Varun Aaron pointed out that both teams have weaknesses, so I’m sure India will win the Test series. “I think India will definitely win the series. They have a lot of experienced players. There are a lot of lack of experience in England camps. And I’m an Indian,” Aaron said in the video.
Finally, former Indian batting coach Sanjay Banger believes that the upcoming Test series will be closely fought, and thanks to India’s bowling strength and England’s solid batting, he predicted a 2-2 draw.
Sanjay Banger said, “I believe the Indian team has a very good bowling offense, so 2-2.
