India’s National Cricket Team Test vice captain Rishabhupant came up with an interesting response when asked about becoming a senior player on the team after retiring such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Rishabh Pant will become the most experienced batter in Team India after KL Rahul in the upcoming 5-match Test series against the English National Cricket team, which will begin on June 20th.

The early retirement of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli means India is light on the Test Series experience against the three Lions.
Of the players on the current team, all-rounder Rabindra Jadeha is India’s highest lansellor in Test matches in India, showing how inexperienced the Indian batting order is.
Apart from Jadeja, two players on the current team (KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant) violated the 500-run mark in a British Test match.
The 27-year-old Pants has been featured in nine Test matches in the UK, averaging 32.70 and earning 556 runs, earning two tons and 50s in their 20s.
With an additional strain on the shoulder of Vice Captaincy, Rishabhpants should ensure he will meet expectations for the upcoming series and use his experience to return with a consistent score. Meanwhile, when asked about wearing the senior player tag, he responded hilariously.
“It feels good, boss. Finally (smile),” Pants said at a press conference when he asked her how she felt she was called a senior batter.

Pant added that the senior player tag will add an additional responsibility to his shoulder and share his experiences with the young people coming into the team, but emphasized that he is not very focused. He said:
“It feels good, but at the same time I know it is a responsibility to share your knowledge, new players, new youth and new youth coming to the team, but you need to play the game without focusing too much on that advanced part.
Pants further said that his new role on the test team would not affect his batting as he only focuses on batting when he is in the middle without thinking about his seniority. He said:
