Will Bo Nickal’s UFC Des Moines lose positivity?
In an Instagram post, Bo Nickal coach Mike Brown shared some thoughts about the fighter’s first defeat in MMA. He believes defeat could be a positive experience for Nikkal.
“It’s been a tough weekend, but maybe they needed an A. For Beau Nikkal, things were moving fast. At this point he was able to make things happen and secure six finishes and seven wins with the limited experience he has.
“He has athletic ability, a strong confident mindset, a great family support system and started fighting sports (especially wrestling) at a very young age. These are all boxes that you want to check out when developing elite MMA fighters, but what bo doesn’t have is live fighting cage time, and there’s no substitute for this.
“It’s a fight game, it’s cliché, but this is where we learn. It’s where we make a difference and where we get the most profit. I’m sure this is what BO is fueled and will help him focus on another level.
Nickal recently issued a brief statement, and he vowed to return. Now, fans are waiting to see how Nikkal reacts to adversity, now that the pressure to remain undefeated is gone. Aaron Pico had a share of obstacles early in his career, but now many believe he can become a future UFC title contender. Check if Nickal follows a similar path.
