With 50 seconds remaining in Game 2 on Tuesday night, the Cavs seemed just enough to win. The Pacers needed serious luck to get away from the winning game two. On Tuesday, Indiana ran 8-0 in the final 50 seconds of Game 2. Cleveland did not attempt a single field goal in that span. Additionally, they handed over the ball twice and gave up two offensive rebounds at the final moments of the game. It’s not a winning recipe for the Cavaliers.
Cleveland’s Ty Jerome fouled Ty Halliburton with a jump shot. This led Halliburton to the 119-117 line with two shots. The All-Star PG became his first one, but missed the second one. However, Halliburton ran around rebounding his mistakes, one-on-one with Ty Jerome. Tyrese Halliburton crossed Jerome and went to three in-laws of his signature. He nailed the three-pointer and gave Indiana a 120-119 lead in 1.1 seconds.
His incredible effort in the final sequence of the game was enough to steal Game 2 for the Pacer. They currently have a 2-0 series lead vs. #1 seed Cavaliers.
