If you think Alex Pereira and the UFC are in good condition, think again.

A former glorious kickboxing champion, Pereira is also a former middleweight and light heavyweight champion of the UFC. He is one of the most popular fighters on today’s promotional roster. Even after making a close decision in his final fight, losing his light heavyweight belt to Magamed Ankaraev. He also appears to be a favorite of UFC executives. After all, he headed some major pay-per-views in a relatively short notice, especially UFC 300 and 303 last year.
His relationship with the promotion seems to be less rosy than we had previously thought.
On Tuesday morning, Pereira won an X in a heated message to the UFC. It appears he’s heard something from a promotion that he doesn’t like. In fact, he is so disappointed that he is actually considering ending his illustrious combat sports career.
I’ve always answered UFC calls, but if they want to play with me, we can do it. I have never spoken poorly about the UFC, but what I heard made me disappointed. I had the idea that I hadn’t fought anymore, but this might be the beginning after being told to me.
