The Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) is making significant investments in the Ladies’ European Tour (Let) to sponsor the title of five women’s golf events.

The event, previously known as the Aramco Team Series, has been rebranded as the PIF Global Series and will be held in 2025 in five countries on three continents. In the tournament, prize money increased from $1 million to $2 million.

The news comes just after PIF Saudi Arabia’s Ladies International’s $5 million prize in February. The event remains the 2026 season.

The five events that are made up of the PIF Global Series are:

•PIF Saudi Women’s International: Riyadh Golf Club, Riyadh (February 12-15)

•Alamco Korean Championship: New Korea Country Club, Seoul, Korea (Friday to Sunday)

•PIF Championship: Centurion Club, London (August 8-10)

•Alamco Houston Championship: TBC, Houston (September 5-7)

•Aramco Shenzhen Championship: Mission Hills, Shenzhen, China (November 6-8)

The collective award pool across all five events will reach $13 million.

Similar to the PIF-supported Liv Golf League, each REVAMPED LET event features both team and individual competitions simultaneously. For the team competition, the captain will be appointed based on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and draft the team.

“The new PIF Global Series is another big moment for Let as it continues to provide more opportunities for players to play and win in great events around the world,” says Golf Saudi Ambassador Charley Hull, ranked 14th in the world. “Golf Saudi Arabia and PIF have proven to be a real game changer for women’s golf, and once again backed up their commitment to creating equal opportunities and raising the bar for players.

“I love playing as an individual or on a team, so I can’t wait to tee it at series events throughout the year.

In addition to LIV and LET, PIF has recently invested heavily in ATP and WTA tennis tours.
