Liverpool is expected to complete the signature of Dutch international defender Jeremy Fripon in the coming weeks.
The 24-year-old is a key player for Bayer Leverkusen and played a key role in his title victory last season. Players are now joining Liverpool in the summer.
The transaction is nearing completion
According to the German publication Kicker, senior consultations are ongoing and contracts are being signed, and Liverpool will pay his 40 million euro release clause this summer. The player is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Premier League champion, and his exit is almost certain.
The 24-year-old has demonstrated his quality in German football and he has a technical attribute that will work well in the Premier League as well. He is expected to replace Trent Alexander Arnold next season. England International has decided to leave Liverpool to a free transfer. He joins Real Madrid as a free agent.
Jeremie Frimpong is set to replace Keystar
Alexander Arnold is not a Liverpool advocate and his contributions in the future were invaluable. It’s no surprise that Liverpool decided to sign an offensive fullback like Frimon. The Netherlands International will continue to excel and will help create goalscoring opportunities for teammates.
That being said, like Alexander Arnold, his defensive quality is questionable. It will be interesting to see if he can prove his critics wrong and establish himself as a reliable defender.
Liverpool is one of the largest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to join them is extremely exciting for players. He will hit the ground running in the Premier League and try to prove himself in English football.
After going through the Manchester City ranks, he also counts as a homemade addition.
