Manchester City is interested in signing Newcastle United defender Tino Librament at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has established himself as a key player in Newcastle and has always been there for them this season. According to Give Me Sport, Newcastle United is now deciding on his future, and despite interest from the Premier League giants, they are reluctant to sanction his departure.
Newcastle does not sell Tino Libramento
They see the 22-year-old as a long-term alternative to Kieran Trippier and want to hug him. It will be interesting to see if Manchester City has decided to move on to other targets. Development will be a major blow to them. The Premier League giants need to sign a quality right back in the summer. They need to fill in the blank left by Kyle Walker.
It was a disappointing season for Manchester City, and they missed the league title and the Champions League. They need to improve their teams in the summer and bounce hard. They need to plug in their weaknesses and signing quality immediately must be one of their priorities. They should also try to aim for left turn quality.
The players have no reason to leave
Meanwhile, Librament enjoyed his time in Newcastle, and he was their regular starter. The player has no reason to leave the club. He’s focused on his football for now. If he continues to impress in the upcoming seasons, he may have another opportunity to join a big club.
Newcastle has an ambitious project and wants to win major trophies. They are looking for qualifying for the Champions League next season, and are winning the domestic trophy this year. It’s no surprise that they are determined to embrace the best players.
