Season 2 of the PGA Tour 2K25 arrives, bringing updates to games that 2K games from developers HB Studios and publishers hope to satisfy virtual golfers.

Challenge mode is the new season of Crown Jewel, which blends a bit of golf scenarios in RPG flavor. Players will be dropped on the map. There you can tackle the challenges and move your own path forward to earning rewards. Although it is based on real golf, some missions have a more arcade feel to mix things up.

In these scenarios, players must meet certain conditions, but unique modifiers must either interfere or assist with the task. For example, the user may need to pilot the shot through a series of floating rings.

Some scenarios are inspired by historical golf moments and challenge players to recreate the most iconic shots in the sport’s chronicle. HB Studios will expand and update this mode with each coming season, with new courses built for this mode in partnership with Charles Schwab to be released in the coming weeks.

Additionally, Season 2 brings St Andrews’ old courses to the PGA Tour 2K25, in addition to the latest array of unlockable rewards, including upgrades, enhancements, and gear. Among these is an additional shop type called The Long Flop, which has a little more power than a flopshot, but is compared in terms of its high trajectory, spin and execution. If your previous shot is a bit shorter, it’s a great way to adjust your next shot.
