Leeds is looking to add Premier League quality to their team before returning to the division in August, with one target appearing to be approaching a summer move to Elland Road.

The final few seasons show that there is a major crack between the Premier League and the Championship. So Leeds will have to make the right move this summer’s transfer market. Also, one of the wise businesses identified by the club bosses involves West Ham midfielder Thomas Sousek.

Leeds has been reported to lead the race to sign Soucek this summer, and the chances of their deals appear to be even more increasing.

As reported by TBR Football (via Givemesport), West Ham decided that Soucek could leave this summer. Therefore, it is said that Czech people can freely search for new clubs. And this allows Leeds to take another step to secure his signature ahead of his return to the Premier League.

Soucek has been a quality player in West Ham since arriving from Slavia Prague five years ago. Despite acting primarily as a holding midfielder, he has won 38 in 230 appearances in all competitions. And in the Premier League this season, he found the back of the net nine times.

There’s no doubt that Soucek will be a great addition to the Leeds team for next season. He may not be a regular starter, but as a team player, he is essential to Daniel Fark. For now, it remains to be seen whether he will trade East London for Yorkshire in the summer.
