What will the Lakers look for in Austin Reeves’ potential trade?
The Los Angeles Lakers are about to litor the roster this summer as they are trying to build legal candidates around LeBron James and Lukadon Sic.
One of the key pieces in the reconstruction is Austin Reeves. Most people will assume he is out of hand after the wonderful season he had.
However, given that Reaves is the final year of his contract and that he can look to free agents to make more money, the Lakers may be aiming to move on from him.
Stephen A. Smith warned the Lakers that Reeves should not be traded at all. But should the Lakers say goodbye to the young security guard?

Austin Reeves deserves to be paid. There is no doubt about that. However, he can only re-sign with the Lakers at around $89 million.
Meanwhile, he can make nearly $40 million with a free agency. While the Lakers pay big sums for LeBron James and Luca Donchick, it’s hard to see the Lakers matching their pay.
James made it clear that he wouldn’t sacrifice his money to help the Lakers make the roster. So why is that different for Reeve?
If anything, the Lakers should use this season as their last chance to boast the Big Three alongside James, Don Sic and Reeves.
