The New York Knicks mercilessly destroyed hopes for a comeback for the Boston Celtics in front of a paranoid crowd at Madison Square Garden in Game 6.
The Knicks blew the game out in the second quarter, pouring 38 points while keeping Boston at just 17. They didn’t look back afterwards.

The Knicks are back at the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. He won the championship 52 years ago in 1973.
Despite this long drought, the championship has always been a 2024-25 aim. Head coach Tom Thibodeau talked about it in the aftermath of his Game 6 victory.
“The goal is to always win a championship,” Thibodeau said. “So we have eight wins, so we need 16 wins.
“Each one is getting more and more difficult, so you have to keep fighting, and you need to understand how important it is.”
