The dates for the 2026 Man TT practice and race week were revealed by organizers a few days before the 2025 event began.

Man TT Island in 2025 is scheduled to start from one week with an opening practice session on the 37.75-mile mountain course on Monday, May 26th.

The event will be held for two weeks and will open the Supersports and Sidecar Contest, practices every day until Friday, May 30th, before the race begins on Saturday, May 31st.

Racing will be held from May 31st to June 7th, with a total of 10 races scheduled, with the exception of unexpected and unplanned tweaks.

Ahead of this year’s event, organizers confirmed the dates for Man TT Island in 2026.

Next year’s TT will begin on May 25th. This will be a bank holiday across the UK on Monday and will run until Saturday, June 6th.

The full breakdown of the schedule has not yet been released, but it may follow a similar pattern as this year.

Practice will start on Saturday, May 25th to May 30th, with the race likely to start on May 31st, June 2nd, June 3rd, June 6th and June 6th.

With the recent race timetables bulging out and adding a second Superstock and Super Twin Contest, organisers had to take advantage of the extra days during race week to suit everything.

Non-racing days painted on the schedule will be retained as emergency days in case the race needs to be rescheduled.

Traditionally, Race Week was opened with Superbike TT, but in recent years organizers have instead started racing programs at their first Supersport Contest.
