According to an update by journalist Matteo Moretto, another “unique” player is believed to be taking part in an “advanced talk” with Liverpool on joining Anfield’s Jeremie Frimpong.
Liverpool closes to Frimon’s signature
The Reds are moving fast this summer looking for alternatives to Trent Alexander Arnold.
The Dutch were removed from the German side’s starting lineup on Saturday for the final Bundesliga game of the season at Mainz and is currently undergoing medical care with Liverpool before his move is complete.
Frimon owns a 24-year-old ferocious speed and impressive final product, and has 30 goals and 44 assists in 190 appearances for Leverkusen, making it a very exciting signing for the Reds.
There is no guarantee that Holland will be brought in as right-back – he can play on the wing too, and Connor Bradley is already a great option – but that’s a surprise if not. There are currently an exciting update on the targets on the opposite side.
Kerkez of “Advanced Talks” with Liverpool
According to Moretto on xLiverpool is currently undergoing a “advanced lecture” with Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerquez as the transition to Anfield approaches.
And while Morett said that negotiations between the clubs would begin immediately, he added that Fabrizio Romano has been ongoing since.
Romano also confirmed Morett’s claim that players are keen to participate and “complete the contract on personal terms.”
If Liverpool could snap both Frimon and Kerquez before the next transfer window technically opens, it represents such a promising start to the summer.

Liverpool is interested in signing Florian Wharts this summer.
Kerkez looks like the perfect option to become Andy Robertson’s long-term successor. The Hungarians are 10 years younger than the Reds legend and have more pace and energy.
The Bournemouth Ace has shined all season, scoring five assists and several goals in the Premier League, with goalkeeper and former teammate Matthew Ryan praised him in the past.
“Milos is a great boy. Crazy guy, in a good way. He is always positive and smiling. He can grow even further in England and mature even more. He is aggressive, strong and has so many qualities. A unique skill set. Bournemouth is strong before him.
The idea that Liverpool is plundering Frimon and Kerquez next season is a tasty prospect, giving an extra dimension under Arneslot, and at Anfield the future feels very bright.
