Kelvin Gastherm looked back on his iconic battle with Israeli Adesanya ahead of his upcoming UFC Hall of Fame.

In UFC 316, Kelvin Gastherm returns to the cage as he fights Joe Pyfer, who is on the rise. In many people’s eyes, this is a great opportunity for Pyfer to reach the next level in pursuit of UFC Gold. On the other hand, the general belief is that Kelvin now plays the role of a “gatekeeper” in many of these young perspectives.

Whether you believe it or not, there’s no denying that Gastherm has some ups and downs in his career. However, one of his biggest moments was actually defeated at UFC 236. At the interim UFC Middleweight Championship, he threw away along with Israel’s Adesanya in a five-round war.

After it was announced earlier this year that he would head into the UFC Hall of Fame this summer, Gastherum took time to look back on the night in a recent social media post.
