Chelsea is looking to improve their attack forces with Real Madrid superstar Rodrigo signing this summer.
According to Goal Brasil, Chelsea have begun contacting the talented young attacker to sign.
The Brazilian attacker has signed a contract with Real Madrid until 2028, and the Spanish outfit has not been under pressure to sell him this summer. If Chelsea wants to sign him, they have to pay the premium.
Rodrigo is welcomed by Carlo Ancelotti as a “special striker.”
Rodrigo can go to Chelsea
Rodrigo proves to be a great acquisition for Chelsea, and he will be a major upgrade for Nicholas Jackson. The 24-year-old is a technically talented attacker and versatile enough to operate anywhere on the Front 3. He adds goals and creativity to the aspects. Aside from his quality as a player, his winning experience could prove to be invaluable to Chelsea. He won several major trophies with Real Madrid.
The player could be open to new challenges, and the move to the Premier League could be exciting for him. Chelsea is one of the largest clubs in the world. They haven’t been at their best in recent seasons, but they’ve shown improvement this year and are seeking Champions League qualification. If you want to attract top-class players like Rodrygo, it’s fair to assume you need to finish in the top four.
It will be interesting to see how things develop over the next few weeks. Liverpool is also enthusiastic about Rodrigo.
Premier League travel might be ideal
Chelsea will need a Jackson upgrade if they want to fight for a major trophy next year. Rodrigo might be the ideal striker for them. The 24-year-old has all the tools to develop into a world-class player. British regular football can take him to a whole new level.
The Brazilian has 13 goals and 10 assists to his name in all competitions this season, despite not being in his best condition. If he can regain his shape and confidence at Chelsea next season, his numbers are likely to improve.
