Paul Pierce gives a replacement for the Philadelphia 76ers move for Kevin Durant and sends Embiid to the Golden State Warriors

Paul Pierce believes Kevin Durant should be traded east, not the Philadelphia 76ers.

After buying Paul George last summer, many were hoping that the Philadelphia 76ers would eventually get over the postseason hump.

However, even with George on the roster, the 76ers missed the 2025 playoffs and finished 13th in the Eastern Conference with a 24-58 record.

The big reason behind Abyssmal’s regular-season run for the 76ers was that Joel Embiid fought injuries and played in just 19 games. Currently, the 76ers are tied to stars of figures like Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns.

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce recently gave him two cents in the 76ers who could potentially trade with Slim Reaper.

Piercing revealed that Durant should not be given green light for this movement.

“Not at all. I don’t want to see Kevin at this stage. The franchise confusion doesn’t understand what direction they want to go.

“In my eyes, I’m not trying to get Kevin Durant because they probably have to give up on Pick and Paul George.

So, what should Philadelphia do? Now, Pierce urged the organization to say goodbye to Embiid.

“What they should obviously do as an organization is trade embiid and rebuilding. This is not an Embaid knock. I just think the process is over in Philadelphia,” he added.

Pierce is opposed to Embiid and Durant becoming teammates, but he believes he should find a new destination in the upcoming offseason.

The 2008 NBA champion said: “I’m getting younger with Paul George. I don’t want this team to disappoint me, as it’s the most disappointing franchise of the last five years or so.

“They should start over and stop putting band-aids in these holes.”

But the question is which teams will deal realistically with Embiid?

“What about Golden State (Warriors)? Yes, you got your salary and stuff. You could understand who could use Embiid,” Pierce suggested.

And finally, “Kevin Durant, he’ll look good in Orlando to me. I’ll pair him with some young superstars, veteran presence, and a punch that scored.

Well, that’s an interesting suggestion. The Warriors, who are dealing with Embiid, will also help solve the Jonathan Kuminga problem.
