The New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves engaged in the blockbuster trade ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season.

The towns of Julius Randle and Karl Anthony were the biggest works involved during large trade. Initially, most people felt that the Knicks had won the deal as Kat immediately influenced the team.

Fast forward to ever, both Randle and the town are competing in the conference finals. Along the way, Randle has changed the views of many NBA experts.

Given that Randle spent five seasons in New York, it’s clear that he had a good relationship with his teammates with the Knicks.

Obviously, many wonder if the triple-fold NBA All-Star will be difficult to adapt to his new life in Minnesota. Well, Randle answered that fiery question during the post-match meeting of the Game 3 vs OKC Thunder.

“We arrived in Minnesota two days later, and as soon as we arrived, we ran around the area, eating some of our food and wandering around with some of our coaches and athletes.

“I just embrace a fresh new start. It happened pretty quickly, I was excited,” Randle said.

When asked if he had spoken to his former Knicks teammate, Randle said:

Randle would want to avoid any controversy over the possibility of touching on his former team. So avoiding the question was a wise move by the Timberwolves stars.

Randle continues his sensational run during the 2025 postseason. He continued to encounter WCF’s Game 1 against Thunder.

However, Randle gave a terrible performance in Game 2. He finished with just six points, five rebounds and five assists while shooting two 11s from the field.

With the TO-Olves needed a victory in Game 3, head coach Chris Finch had to pass an important message to Randle after an overwhelming performance.

Finch’s message went on the job as Randle contributed 24 points, 4 rebounds and three assists in a 143-101 blowout victory with 24 points, 4 rebounds and three assists.
