Mateusz Gamrot Mocks ranked UFC lightweight, avoiding him

Mateusz Gamrot has one UFC lightweight new nickname that he is trying to fight for.

Mateusz Gamrot

Gamrot is refreshing from the unanimous decision victory over odovít Klein, with its final match on the UFC Vegas 107 card. It was a one-sided show in favor of the 7th place UFC lightweight, which had a clean sweep of 30-27 score total. Gamrot was 4-1 on his final five outings, with the only loss being a split decision.

In a postwar interview with Daniel Cormier, Gamlott sought the top name for Lightweight.

“Everyone is a friend,” Gumlott said. “I want to fight against everyone.”

He also aimed at one lightweight in particular.

Gamrot is having fun with Benoit Saint Denis

Speaking to reporters following UFC Vegas 107, Mateusz Gamrot refostered claims that Benoit Saint Denis turned him down for UFC 315 in May. He also had the funny nickname for St. Dennis (via Mmajunkie).

“We can change the nickname Benoit St. Dennis,” Gamrot told UFC reporters at a post-ESPN 68 press conference. “He has the nickname “God of War,” but I can change his nickname to “God of Comfort Zone.” He offered to fight me a week ago.

St. Dennis faced Kyle Preplek instead. “God of War” won the second round submission finish. With the victory, St. Dennis snapped two fight skids.

Gamrot’s plan is to continue to win the fight until he can no longer deny the opportunity for the title. We still can’t see the UFC match him with the next one. If the grim match with St. Dennis is not a plan, then perhaps Gamrot is someone in the top five if he has luck on his side.
