$10.5 million Flightline stallion will be named Zedan after his owner

The Flightline colt, who offered for $10.5 million eventually week’s OBS April Sale, was named Zedan after the Zedan Racing Stables household that bought him.

This 2-year-old colt was bred in Kentucky by Edward and Beverly Seltzer and W.S. Farish and is out of the Into Mischief mare Lucrezia. He ran a furlong in 9.3 seconds within the undertack present at Sale.

Zedan, who shall be educated by Bob Baffert, offered for $575,000 as a weanling on the 2024 Keeneland November Sale and was bought by Basic Equine.

Flight Line retired on the age of 4 with a report of 6 wins from 6 races. These wins included 4 Group 1s, culminating in an 8 1/4-length victory within the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Basic.
